New Men’s Group Join us each Thursday at 7:00 pm at the Sioux Valley Parsonage for some deep conversation, beverages, and fellowship. We are studying the book, Live Not By Lies: A Manual For Christian Dissidents by Rod Dreher. We’ll be looking at what Christians should expect to encounter in our world today and how we, as Christian men, should confront the world. All men are welcome, but the study will be especially helpful to college-age young men and fathers with children in school. We will meet at the parsonage, next to Trinity in Sioux Valley, at 7 pm weekly. During these busy summer months, please consult the monthly calendar and bulletin week-to-week in case Pastor needs to be at a meeting or duty elsewhere.

CHRISTIAN TV SHOWS: This is the Life and Main Street Living are broadcast on our local affiliates on Sunday mornings. “This is the Life” features remastered episodes of the popular series that was very popular in the 70’s and 80’s. Main Street Living is a Lutheran worship service that features a different area Pastor each week. It features many aspects of worship; with an Invocation, confession and absolution, The Apostles Creed, the week’s Scripture readings, and a sermon. Hymns are sung by area church choir members. It’s a wonderful evangelistic ministry that shares the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with the unchurched and shut-in. It is also great to utilize on Sundays you are unable to attend worship online at www.mainstreetliving.com A listing of participating Pastors and featured episodes are included in our monthly newsletter.
