Confirmation:  Confirmation resumes on Wed. Sept. 16 at 5:30 p.m. at Trinity for all youth in grades 6th to 8th.


Concordia Adult Bible Study  will resume on Sunday October 4th at 9:45 am before Worship. We will continue our study of the new version of Luther’s Small Catechism. To begin at least, after much consideration and gathering of class opinions, we will try meeting at the table area in the back of the sanctuary.  We will distance as we can and adapt to be as safe as possible and see how things go.   All are welcome to join us as we resume our study in God’s Word.


Concordia Sunday School: resumed Sunday, Sept. 13th. This is open to youth pre-K to 5th grade. Please join us each week beginning at 10a.m.


Trinity Sunday School:  resumed on Sunday, Sept. 20th following church service at 10:15 a.m.  This is for youth preschool to 8th grade and of course, visitors are welcome.

Flu Shot Info: We will be doing Flu Shots both the Quadrivalent and the High Dose at Trinity again this year. This would be for anyone 6 years of age and older. Medicare and Medicaid and most insurance cover the cost. Please RSVP for October 11 on the sign-up sheet in the narthex or by calling Vicki Place 507-360-9994 and if any questions. With everything that is occurring, we can prevent being at the clinic or in areas where there are more individuals by receiving our flu shots at the church. Please let others in the community know, it is open to all.

Trinity LWML HUG BOX – 2020 Ingathering: Starting Sunday, September 20th, Trinity LWML has a Hug Box in the narthex for collecting Hats, Gloves, Mittens, Scarves, Socks, Winter Coats, Snow Pants and Boots for children. We will be collecting items September 20th to October 18th. The items will be taken to the Western Community Action Agency in Jackson. God Bless you for your support.


Hintze Family Meals: Thank you to everyone that has helped furnished meals for Paul and Jody Hintze family. We will continue to provide 1 meal per day for the next few weeks. We deliver at 11 am and they are able to use for noon or supper meal. Vicki Place is coordinating the meals so please call or text her at 507-360-9994 If you are interested in helping. By coordinating the meals, they are not over whelmed with too much or the same things. They are very appreciative!!


Trinity LWML Mites: We will now have the LWML Mite can sitting in the back by the offering plate and we welcome all members including Sunday school students to bring your loose change on any Sunday and place in the can. We thank you for all your help.


Trinity LWML Mission Sunday:  Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Grant #15 — Pre- and Post-Seminary Training for Local Church Workers Mission Training Center, Africa — $62,650 In villages across Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia, most local congregations are led by helpers and evangelists.  Others are led by seminary-trained and ordained pastors. Both groups are eager for opportunities to study enabling them to better serve the congregations God has entrusted to their care. The Pre- and Post-Seminary Training for Local Church Workers mission grant will provide funds to help cover the cost of lodging, food, and transportation as they travel to and from their classes. CHRISTIAN TV SHOW: Main Street Living is now being broadcast on KCAU Sioux City and WFTC Channel 29 (aka “Fox 9 Plus” MyTV) in addition to KDLT Sioux Falls.  Air time is Sunday at 10 am. The first 30 minutes are remastered episodes of the classic “This is the Life” series from the 70’s and 80’s. The second half of the program is a modified Lutheran worship service that features a different Pastor each week, from the station’s broadcast area. It features many aspects of church worship; with an Invocation, confession and absolution, The Apostles Creed, the week’s Scripture readings, and a sermon.  Hymns are sung by area church choirs.  It’s a wonderful evangelistic ministry that shares the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with the unchurched and shut-in.  It is also great to utilize on Sundays you are unable to attend worship.  online at

October 4 “The Missing Ingredient” – Bob (Jack Nicholson) and his fiancée Lynn (Susan Crane) are planning their wedding when she overhears her parents planning to separate after the wedding.  Suddenly, Sue has some reservations. Rev. Robert Schilling of St. John Lutheran Church in Pender, NE delivers the message “Unexpected Good; Unexpected Trouble” based on Matthew 21:33-43.
